I asked Lori about this story. She said she wouldn't post my bail if we were in the same circumstances. I guess ours is not an "as long as you both shall live" but is actually an "until I stab you in the head" marriage. Click on the title for the story.

"Wife posts bail for man accused of stabbing her

LAKE COUNTY -- A Buffalo Grove man charged with attempted murder for stabbing his wife in the head was released Tuesday from Lake County Jail after his wife posted $2,000 bail, authorities said.
Sergey Gimplin, 33, of the 200 block of Chicory Lane is accused of attacking his wife Monday morning in their home during a quarrel. Police found the woman bleeding in an upstairs bedroom and Gimplin in the garage. The woman was treated at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights and released.
Associate Circuit Judge Victoria Martin set Gimplin's bail at $20,000 and his wife posted 10 percent, authorities said. Gimplin also was charged with armed violence and aggravated domestic battery."

How would you write the Christmas letter after this kind of thing happens....Oh were doing ok My Wife is recovering just fine after I tried to kill her. However on the lighter side She posted bail for me so I could get out of jail. Now that's what I call love. As a matter of fact she made me these great Almond flavored cookies I just can't get enough of them. Yumm.....
