It Was A Spectacular Spectacular
Lori and I saw Wicked last night. It delivered on the bombast and bigness and there were many parts/portions/bits that were interesting, inventive and well done.
There were also plot holes and confusions and disappointments. Glad I went, but wouldn't recommend it.

There were indeed flying monkeys in it. In fact, it presents an origin for the flying monkeys.
